Now an MRI...ughh

Well apparently the xray revealed a shadowy area (dark) that the oncologist dudes did not like.  So now I have to get an MRI done and see a bone specialist.  What the effin' hell?!

To vent, I am done with doctors of all sorts, done with meds, tests, etc etc etc.  Just take me out back and shoot me and put me out of my misery.  I am just tired of it! I am so thankful I have this blog to write all this bullshit down and have some sort of memory when I look back and laugh...and I will laugh!

Anywho, so they (Henry Ford folks) will call me to set up a time for this MRI.  As for the bone doctor, I have to look up what this dude actually does.  No clue but it is probably due to Lupus.  Fucking Lupus!

****UPDATE****
Got my appointment for July 31 at 1030 at HFH.  I was going to make it at the one on 15/Ryan but why?  I will be downtown anyways...might as well do the whole dance there.  Will blog that experience.  Can not wait *rolling eyes*

OK here's the poop on the Dermi today.  I saw Dr. Henderson and she is a resident at HF.  I went to see a dermi because of the previous post of my sores on my scalp.   She looked me over and was very concerned with the one I have on top of my scalp.  It's deep and she thought it could turn into a cancerous problem.  I did tell her that is where my previous dermi did the punch biopsy.  Dr. H brought in another dr for a second opinion and that doctor stated that if that wound wasn't closed up by stitches and I have lupus, the wound might not have closed up and healed properly.  So in essence, it made Dr. H feel better that it was the area of the punch biopsy.   So today, as I had a hunch, I was injected with cortisone.  That is something I never will forget but she was a lot better than my previous dermi.  She was gentle and gave me some breaks.  I had injections done to the side areas and my crater on top.  The cortisone ...

My head is going to explode!

Ah the life of a lupie!  So much fun! A few days ago, I left eye started to hurt and I thought it was just typical crappy weather problem.  That started Wednesday.  Long story short... it puffed out and I had a fever of 101. Not a pretty picture at all.  It was a lot worse than this.  Just hated  how I looked and felt, especially with the holidays coming around and the noise. Anywho, went to the family doctor today and she gave me antibiotics (augmentin) and boy those are HUGE pills!  Plus she recommended a saline flush so why not.  So now I'm home and just wanted to update my blog since I haven't in some time.  I have been writing in my journal of my own personal thoughts but I like to keep my medical stuff on here so I can refer back. Ok, I'm going to lay down and sleep this pain off.
