It hit into the 70s today!

I played hookey from class today and took Piper for a walk and chased her around the yard. I got a nice picture of her. Almost like one of those calendar photos. I couldn't believe how perfect she looked. She is enjoying the weather since she gets cooped up in the house all day. Tonight, I am making some hamburger patties so we can grill even though the weather is going to turned to 30s by the weekend. No wonder my ears are hurting and my sneezing hasn't stopped.
It's fun to watch her as the wind blows the leaves and garbage everywhere. She just stops and watches it fly by. She did, today, chase the doves out of the yard. Still waiting for her to do some barking. She does bark once in a while but that's about it. She might be one of those dogs that bark only when she needs to. Who knows... she is still young. Anywho, going to get out and chase the pup around and enjoy this gorgeous weather!

I took the puppies outside yesterday for a little bit. Our yard still looks like a rice paddy so we couldn't do a whole lot back there but stay up near the gravel. we got up to 76 yesterday, was beautiful even tho the wind was cold. I even opened windows up in the house to air it out some. Too bad its gunna snow saturday lol. love this weather.

OK here's the poop on the Dermi today.  I saw Dr. Henderson and she is a resident at HF.  I went to see a dermi because of the previous post of my sores on my scalp.   She looked me over and was very concerned with the one I have on top of my scalp.  It's deep and she thought it could turn into a cancerous problem.  I did tell her that is where my previous dermi did the punch biopsy.  Dr. H brought in another dr for a second opinion and that doctor stated that if that wound wasn't closed up by stitches and I have lupus, the wound might not have closed up and healed properly.  So in essence, it made Dr. H feel better that it was the area of the punch biopsy.   So today, as I had a hunch, I was injected with cortisone.  That is something I never will forget but she was a lot better than my previous dermi.  She was gentle and gave me some breaks.  I had injections done to the side areas and my crater on top.  The cortisone ...

My head is going to explode!

Ah the life of a lupie!  So much fun! A few days ago, I left eye started to hurt and I thought it was just typical crappy weather problem.  That started Wednesday.  Long story short... it puffed out and I had a fever of 101. Not a pretty picture at all.  It was a lot worse than this.  Just hated  how I looked and felt, especially with the holidays coming around and the noise. Anywho, went to the family doctor today and she gave me antibiotics (augmentin) and boy those are HUGE pills!  Plus she recommended a saline flush so why not.  So now I'm home and just wanted to update my blog since I haven't in some time.  I have been writing in my journal of my own personal thoughts but I like to keep my medical stuff on here so I can refer back. Ok, I'm going to lay down and sleep this pain off.
