Almost set!

As of last night, we have 3 camping vacations coming up!
Roger's City trip (May 2012)


The first one is in Holly!  
Our first one is usually the closest to make sure we have everything set.   Plus, with me in school (for the last time during the summer...YES!), it is hard to go to far. That trip will be on April 26.


Our Memorial weekend trip is to North Higgins West. 
 Stacy and I saw this in the DNR book and we wanted to try somewhere new since we were getting in a rut of the same places.  I know we don't do much but we need to see what each State Park has to offer.


Our third trip isn't until Labor Weekend and that will be at Sleepy Hollow

This is is becoming a tradition for the guys since it is not far from East Lansing and they can go watch the Spartans play.  As for Stacy and I, we rather just sit back and relax, walk our furkids or just have time to ourselves.

Plus, this year, Bill bought a new used Dodge Ram!  Very pretty and barely used.  I think he said it was a 2009.  We will have pictures of that when we do start our camping adventure! Until then.....
ADVENTURE IS OUT THERE!

OK here's the poop on the Dermi today.  I saw Dr. Henderson and she is a resident at HF.  I went to see a dermi because of the previous post of my sores on my scalp.   She looked me over and was very concerned with the one I have on top of my scalp.  It's deep and she thought it could turn into a cancerous problem.  I did tell her that is where my previous dermi did the punch biopsy.  Dr. H brought in another dr for a second opinion and that doctor stated that if that wound wasn't closed up by stitches and I have lupus, the wound might not have closed up and healed properly.  So in essence, it made Dr. H feel better that it was the area of the punch biopsy.   So today, as I had a hunch, I was injected with cortisone.  That is something I never will forget but she was a lot better than my previous dermi.  She was gentle and gave me some breaks.  I had injections done to the side areas and my crater on top.  The cortisone ...

My head is going to explode!

Ah the life of a lupie!  So much fun! A few days ago, I left eye started to hurt and I thought it was just typical crappy weather problem.  That started Wednesday.  Long story short... it puffed out and I had a fever of 101. Not a pretty picture at all.  It was a lot worse than this.  Just hated  how I looked and felt, especially with the holidays coming around and the noise. Anywho, went to the family doctor today and she gave me antibiotics (augmentin) and boy those are HUGE pills!  Plus she recommended a saline flush so why not.  So now I'm home and just wanted to update my blog since I haven't in some time.  I have been writing in my journal of my own personal thoughts but I like to keep my medical stuff on here so I can refer back. Ok, I'm going to lay down and sleep this pain off.
