Happy Anniversary, August 4, 2007

We took this picture before we went off for the night. He took me to Andiamos in Novi that had a Second City on the 2nd floor. It was really cool! I was totally surprised! I was joking with him on the way there about taking me to a fancy White Castles! His dinner was the Tortellini and I had the stuffed Atlantic Salmon. We also had dessert. Of course I had this chocolate piece and he had the chambourg cheesecake. We both had margaritas and the second round was terribly strong! :) Before we had our appetizers of calamari, they gave us this appetizer that was basically a fried cheeseball. All we knew about it was that the cheese was buffalo cheese so the whole night we had a good laugh with the buffalo cheese balls. We shared lots of fun conversations and enjoyed our evening. I was totally surprised!
Our dinner reservations was at 7pm and the show started at 9pm. The show was hilarious. The did various skits and then an improv afterward. We were seated in the back but it sat higher than the floor so we could see. I wasnt sure if I would be able but I was able to see the show.
We had a fun and enjoyable time last night. I love you, John and had a fun time and looking forward to another year together! XOXOXO

OK here's the poop on the Dermi today.  I saw Dr. Henderson and she is a resident at HF.  I went to see a dermi because of the previous post of my sores on my scalp.   She looked me over and was very concerned with the one I have on top of my scalp.  It's deep and she thought it could turn into a cancerous problem.  I did tell her that is where my previous dermi did the punch biopsy.  Dr. H brought in another dr for a second opinion and that doctor stated that if that wound wasn't closed up by stitches and I have lupus, the wound might not have closed up and healed properly.  So in essence, it made Dr. H feel better that it was the area of the punch biopsy.   So today, as I had a hunch, I was injected with cortisone.  That is something I never will forget but she was a lot better than my previous dermi.  She was gentle and gave me some breaks.  I had injections done to the side areas and my crater on top.  The cortisone ...

My head is going to explode!

Ah the life of a lupie!  So much fun! A few days ago, I left eye started to hurt and I thought it was just typical crappy weather problem.  That started Wednesday.  Long story short... it puffed out and I had a fever of 101. Not a pretty picture at all.  It was a lot worse than this.  Just hated  how I looked and felt, especially with the holidays coming around and the noise. Anywho, went to the family doctor today and she gave me antibiotics (augmentin) and boy those are HUGE pills!  Plus she recommended a saline flush so why not.  So now I'm home and just wanted to update my blog since I haven't in some time.  I have been writing in my journal of my own personal thoughts but I like to keep my medical stuff on here so I can refer back. Ok, I'm going to lay down and sleep this pain off.
