I wish some things could stay the same. For example, I remember a loooonnnggg time ago when Whoppers covered the whole bun! They were huge! And now, well, y'all seen it.... they barely cover a regular hamburger bun. It reminds me of that Eddie Murphy skit of him as a little kid whining about his mama's big ol' grease burge while the neighborhood kids chanted "I've got McDonalds!" It's not that I had BK tonight, but something in the area of things changing. I had sketti O's and for some reason, they taste weird, there is less of them and the noodles aren't the same. Maybe it is because I am older (not grown up, just older) or maybe it is a conspiracy? I am going for the conspiracy just for the fact that I don't want to be older.

Anyone else have a problem with food portion changing or is it just me?

interestingly enough... sketti o's taste differently then they used to when going in, but still taste the same when coming out laced with vodka and tequila.

Sorta like the Hershey bars...I could swear when we had them back in the day..they were HUGE you would think OMG I'd never be able to eat this!!

now its like ..what chocolate..there's chocolate in this paper? Seriously..is it in there?..ROFL

OK here's the poop on the Dermi today.  I saw Dr. Henderson and she is a resident at HF.  I went to see a dermi because of the previous post of my sores on my scalp.   She looked me over and was very concerned with the one I have on top of my scalp.  It's deep and she thought it could turn into a cancerous problem.  I did tell her that is where my previous dermi did the punch biopsy.  Dr. H brought in another dr for a second opinion and that doctor stated that if that wound wasn't closed up by stitches and I have lupus, the wound might not have closed up and healed properly.  So in essence, it made Dr. H feel better that it was the area of the punch biopsy.   So today, as I had a hunch, I was injected with cortisone.  That is something I never will forget but she was a lot better than my previous dermi.  She was gentle and gave me some breaks.  I had injections done to the side areas and my crater on top.  The cortisone ...

My head is going to explode!

Ah the life of a lupie!  So much fun! A few days ago, I left eye started to hurt and I thought it was just typical crappy weather problem.  That started Wednesday.  Long story short... it puffed out and I had a fever of 101. Not a pretty picture at all.  It was a lot worse than this.  Just hated  how I looked and felt, especially with the holidays coming around and the noise. Anywho, went to the family doctor today and she gave me antibiotics (augmentin) and boy those are HUGE pills!  Plus she recommended a saline flush so why not.  So now I'm home and just wanted to update my blog since I haven't in some time.  I have been writing in my journal of my own personal thoughts but I like to keep my medical stuff on here so I can refer back. Ok, I'm going to lay down and sleep this pain off.
