First my short red hair! I absolutely love it! Thanks Janine for cutting it short and sassy!! :)
Anywho, there's not much going on with birthdays or anniversaries this month. I do have a double header for OU on the 23rd. This is senior day and it is fun to watch the seniors get together the last home game together. They havent played too well this year but they are still a young team. I have hope for them each year.
As most know, I am taking sign language class at Macomb Community College. I absolutely love it! I did get in contact with Baker College in Auburn Hills and I can get my Associates for Applied Science in Interpreting. I have to get my OU transcripts to Baker and my MCC classes will transfer as well. So I am thinking of taking as many MCC classes I can (cheaper tuition) and then transfer over and then get my AAS in less than 2 years! I cannot believe it! I am so excited!! Something I really want to do and satisfying as well. Baker College also helps me get an internship and help out with testing for the state of Michigan.
Tonight we are expected to get at least 6 inches of snow. They are playing it up big time on the news.
Anywho, good news galore for me. I look forward to what my future holds!

BTW i ve been complaining that its too warm down here, maybe i should be where you are .. its cold and nice( for few hours)Take care

OK here's the poop on the Dermi today.  I saw Dr. Henderson and she is a resident at HF.  I went to see a dermi because of the previous post of my sores on my scalp.   She looked me over and was very concerned with the one I have on top of my scalp.  It's deep and she thought it could turn into a cancerous problem.  I did tell her that is where my previous dermi did the punch biopsy.  Dr. H brought in another dr for a second opinion and that doctor stated that if that wound wasn't closed up by stitches and I have lupus, the wound might not have closed up and healed properly.  So in essence, it made Dr. H feel better that it was the area of the punch biopsy.   So today, as I had a hunch, I was injected with cortisone.  That is something I never will forget but she was a lot better than my previous dermi.  She was gentle and gave me some breaks.  I had injections done to the side areas and my crater on top.  The cortisone ...

My head is going to explode!

Ah the life of a lupie!  So much fun! A few days ago, I left eye started to hurt and I thought it was just typical crappy weather problem.  That started Wednesday.  Long story short... it puffed out and I had a fever of 101. Not a pretty picture at all.  It was a lot worse than this.  Just hated  how I looked and felt, especially with the holidays coming around and the noise. Anywho, went to the family doctor today and she gave me antibiotics (augmentin) and boy those are HUGE pills!  Plus she recommended a saline flush so why not.  So now I'm home and just wanted to update my blog since I haven't in some time.  I have been writing in my journal of my own personal thoughts but I like to keep my medical stuff on here so I can refer back. Ok, I'm going to lay down and sleep this pain off.
