Again with the cancer

Well the cancer is back and it is around the left abdomen area in the lymph nodes.  No idea what that means to be honest.

I saw the GI and he is recommending a colonoscopy to see what is going on with the inners.  Picked up my golytely stuff and now just waiting to hear about when I can schedule this.  On top of this, I am going to the radiation dr on Thursday to find out the course of action.  Hope he doesn't plan on doing any internal because that shit is off!

On top of that, my oncologist pretty much said it cannot be cured so it seems like I will have that for the rest of my life.  How wonderful.  Just really depresses me and there is nothing anyone can do about it.  Just gotta swallow it down and push forward.  I an have my pity party once in a while but I just want to find out what the heck is wrong with my intestines and get that straight.

Anywho, I will know more Thursday.

OK here's the poop on the Dermi today.  I saw Dr. Henderson and she is a resident at HF.  I went to see a dermi because of the previous post of my sores on my scalp.   She looked me over and was very concerned with the one I have on top of my scalp.  It's deep and she thought it could turn into a cancerous problem.  I did tell her that is where my previous dermi did the punch biopsy.  Dr. H brought in another dr for a second opinion and that doctor stated that if that wound wasn't closed up by stitches and I have lupus, the wound might not have closed up and healed properly.  So in essence, it made Dr. H feel better that it was the area of the punch biopsy.   So today, as I had a hunch, I was injected with cortisone.  That is something I never will forget but she was a lot better than my previous dermi.  She was gentle and gave me some breaks.  I had injections done to the side areas and my crater on top.  The cortisone ...

My head is going to explode!

Ah the life of a lupie!  So much fun! A few days ago, I left eye started to hurt and I thought it was just typical crappy weather problem.  That started Wednesday.  Long story short... it puffed out and I had a fever of 101. Not a pretty picture at all.  It was a lot worse than this.  Just hated  how I looked and felt, especially with the holidays coming around and the noise. Anywho, went to the family doctor today and she gave me antibiotics (augmentin) and boy those are HUGE pills!  Plus she recommended a saline flush so why not.  So now I'm home and just wanted to update my blog since I haven't in some time.  I have been writing in my journal of my own personal thoughts but I like to keep my medical stuff on here so I can refer back. Ok, I'm going to lay down and sleep this pain off.
