The Cost of Text Messaging

This is sounding like a novel! I wonder what the 3rd book is going to be about! hahahha

Anywho, called the claim department and it the total damage cost (including towing) is $5,024.18. All I can say is that text message better be worth that kid's insurance going up, big time! I am going to call the body shop to see if they need me for anything to start this repair so that I can have my car back. I miss my car. :(

Now I find out that the cost could go up once the body shop starts tearing things apart and the estimated time is now a month. WTF?! When it f'in rains, it pours. Yeah I know this is only temporary but you know, I dont need this shit! Why can't people understand this?

Psssst... It's me, Laura. From o/s. It occurred to me I don't have a pic in there right now and that's why you couldn't tell it was me. Then I realized I don't know that you've seen my pic anyway. But I'm sure you recognize the rambling, right? :o)

OK here's the poop on the Dermi today.  I saw Dr. Henderson and she is a resident at HF.  I went to see a dermi because of the previous post of my sores on my scalp.   She looked me over and was very concerned with the one I have on top of my scalp.  It's deep and she thought it could turn into a cancerous problem.  I did tell her that is where my previous dermi did the punch biopsy.  Dr. H brought in another dr for a second opinion and that doctor stated that if that wound wasn't closed up by stitches and I have lupus, the wound might not have closed up and healed properly.  So in essence, it made Dr. H feel better that it was the area of the punch biopsy.   So today, as I had a hunch, I was injected with cortisone.  That is something I never will forget but she was a lot better than my previous dermi.  She was gentle and gave me some breaks.  I had injections done to the side areas and my crater on top.  The cortisone ...

My head is going to explode!

Ah the life of a lupie!  So much fun! A few days ago, I left eye started to hurt and I thought it was just typical crappy weather problem.  That started Wednesday.  Long story short... it puffed out and I had a fever of 101. Not a pretty picture at all.  It was a lot worse than this.  Just hated  how I looked and felt, especially with the holidays coming around and the noise. Anywho, went to the family doctor today and she gave me antibiotics (augmentin) and boy those are HUGE pills!  Plus she recommended a saline flush so why not.  So now I'm home and just wanted to update my blog since I haven't in some time.  I have been writing in my journal of my own personal thoughts but I like to keep my medical stuff on here so I can refer back. Ok, I'm going to lay down and sleep this pain off.
