"Lousy Smarch Weather" - H. Simpson

For those who don't know where I pulled that line from and those who dont know I am a Simpsons fan!

You have said it, Homer! Everytime we have snow melt, we have a 'weather warning'. I use quotes since the meterologists in Michigan cannot get it right and yet they still have a job. Man, I need a job like that. Always wrong and still get paid. But I digress...
Amazing how time flies! Well let's get on with the nicer weather. Here's the breakdown on special dates in order:

Mom K ~ 2nd
Ashley ~ 3rd
Dad K ~ 5th
Jimmy ~ 7th
Billy ~ 11th
Andrew ~ 14th
Ivan ~ 20th
Debbi ~ 29th
My sign language class is going great. I had some set back about when and where to go for my new degree. I am just letting things go and letting them fall. I am enjoying learning and met a couple of nice folks too! I have my Midterm on the 4th.
Other than the above, just another month of cold and snow. I am looking forward to spring so I can start on my garden.

Reminds me of our "Storm Watch". Anytime it rains here in SoCal, we're immediately on STORM WATCH. Sheesh. you'd think we're all going to die of 1" of rain or something. lol

OH I know! The two things I cannot stand about this winter are 1)the drivers and 2) being stuck indoors. I am so ready for Spring!!!

OK here's the poop on the Dermi today.  I saw Dr. Henderson and she is a resident at HF.  I went to see a dermi because of the previous post of my sores on my scalp.   She looked me over and was very concerned with the one I have on top of my scalp.  It's deep and she thought it could turn into a cancerous problem.  I did tell her that is where my previous dermi did the punch biopsy.  Dr. H brought in another dr for a second opinion and that doctor stated that if that wound wasn't closed up by stitches and I have lupus, the wound might not have closed up and healed properly.  So in essence, it made Dr. H feel better that it was the area of the punch biopsy.   So today, as I had a hunch, I was injected with cortisone.  That is something I never will forget but she was a lot better than my previous dermi.  She was gentle and gave me some breaks.  I had injections done to the side areas and my crater on top.  The cortisone ...

My head is going to explode!

Ah the life of a lupie!  So much fun! A few days ago, I left eye started to hurt and I thought it was just typical crappy weather problem.  That started Wednesday.  Long story short... it puffed out and I had a fever of 101. Not a pretty picture at all.  It was a lot worse than this.  Just hated  how I looked and felt, especially with the holidays coming around and the noise. Anywho, went to the family doctor today and she gave me antibiotics (augmentin) and boy those are HUGE pills!  Plus she recommended a saline flush so why not.  So now I'm home and just wanted to update my blog since I haven't in some time.  I have been writing in my journal of my own personal thoughts but I like to keep my medical stuff on here so I can refer back. Ok, I'm going to lay down and sleep this pain off.
