Ok I know I have been slacking in my birthday/event annoucements. So here they are:

Things are going ok. School is trudging along. I didnt realize how time/energy consuming one class with a full time job can be! Oh boy! I hate to say but I am so looking forward to be done! John is planning a camping trip with our friends and their dog this summer. I still havent heard of any dates. So far one of the ideas is Picture Rock in the U.P. but that is pretty much all I have heard. Another granduer idea we are trying is painting the front room/hallway and getting new carpet. I kind of like the idea of brightening up the front room since gray looks so cold. This weekend (4/12) we are going up to the Girards for a BBQ. Tatia is walking and talking now and I cannot wait to post a few of her pictures. She will be one next month! I cannot believe it!! It seems Spring is coming in real fast and then next thing we know... Summer is here!
I am looking forward to getting my flower memorial garden. I have my river rock and I need my statue and flowers. I look forward to planting. Gets me out of the house and into something I truly enjoy. Of course, I will post a picture of that as soon as it is up. I may go with more bulbs so it may not be until next year but time will tell.
Anywho, things are ok for April. Just letting the days go by....

OK here's the poop on the Dermi today.  I saw Dr. Henderson and she is a resident at HF.  I went to see a dermi because of the previous post of my sores on my scalp.   She looked me over and was very concerned with the one I have on top of my scalp.  It's deep and she thought it could turn into a cancerous problem.  I did tell her that is where my previous dermi did the punch biopsy.  Dr. H brought in another dr for a second opinion and that doctor stated that if that wound wasn't closed up by stitches and I have lupus, the wound might not have closed up and healed properly.  So in essence, it made Dr. H feel better that it was the area of the punch biopsy.   So today, as I had a hunch, I was injected with cortisone.  That is something I never will forget but she was a lot better than my previous dermi.  She was gentle and gave me some breaks.  I had injections done to the side areas and my crater on top.  The cortisone ...

My head is going to explode!

Ah the life of a lupie!  So much fun! A few days ago, I left eye started to hurt and I thought it was just typical crappy weather problem.  That started Wednesday.  Long story short... it puffed out and I had a fever of 101. Not a pretty picture at all.  It was a lot worse than this.  Just hated  how I looked and felt, especially with the holidays coming around and the noise. Anywho, went to the family doctor today and she gave me antibiotics (augmentin) and boy those are HUGE pills!  Plus she recommended a saline flush so why not.  So now I'm home and just wanted to update my blog since I haven't in some time.  I have been writing in my journal of my own personal thoughts but I like to keep my medical stuff on here so I can refer back. Ok, I'm going to lay down and sleep this pain off.
